The Lancaster County Drug Task Force arrested 37-year-old Eric Lee Wilson of Manheim, following multiple under cover drug purchases as part of their investigation in to drug sales in the city launched in March 2023.
Wilson's vehicle was found with 45 grams of crack cocaine, five grams of methamphetamine, 12 Xanax pills, 25 grams of marijuana and three digital gram scales with drug residue at the time of his arrest on March 16, according to a release by the district attorney's office on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
A search warrant was reportedly executed at Wilson's home the same day as his arrest yielding more narcotics, scales and $1,581, according to the DA.
Wilson has been held in the Lancaster County Prison after failing to post $150,000 in bail, the DA said and court records confirm.
His preliminary hearing is set before Magisterial District Judge Randall L. Miller on March 24, at 9 a.m., according to his latest court docket.
His first arrest for drug dealing, manufacture, or possession with the intent to manufacture or deal was in 2005 and he served three years of probation as part of a intermediate punishment program, according to his first criminal court docket in the state. Unfortunately, he was found with drugs several times since then, violating his IPP but he was simply granted more probation, court records show. This ceased in 2021 when he was caught driving under the influence, leaving his lane, and tests later showed that his blood alcohol content was above the highest legal limit, according to court records. That last case is set to go to Plea/Sentencing court before Judge James M. Lillis on April 19, 2023 at 9 a.m., according to his second most recent court docket.
